Matrimony events in Toronto
A NeuMarry Family Mixer is a small, hosted evening where verified singles meet in person over dinner, and parents are welcome. It is the modern version of families meeting families, without the pressure of a formal rishta visit.
The first Family Mixer
- When: Saturday 28 November 2026, evening
- Where: a reserved hall at a partner restaurant in the Greater Toronto Area. The address is shared with confirmed guests.
- Who: verified members aged 24 to 32, 16 women and 16 men or more, up to 40 member seats
- Parents: up to two per member, with their own lounge to meet other parents
- Dinner: included, from a fixed event menu: vegetarian, Jain or non-vegetarian
How the evening goes
- Arrive, check in with your ID and get your name card.
- The host welcomes every family and explains the evening.
- Three rounds of conversation at separate tables with your top matches.
- Dinner at family tables, where parents meet other parents.
- More conversations, then everyone goes home.
- The next morning, you privately pick who you would like to see again. Mutual picks become matches in the app.
Know who to meet before you go
In the app you can see your match percentage with every member who is going, both ways: how well they fit you and how well you fit them. Your top three matches are seated with you.
Price
CA$54 per member with dinner if you reserve early (regular CA$64), and CA$40 per parent (regular CA$45), plus 13% HST. Reserving is free. The event is confirmed once 16 women and 16 men reserve by 18 November; then you have 48 hours to pay in the app. If it is not confirmed, nobody pays. Full refund up to 48 hours before the event.
Events for every community
Some evenings are for one community, such as Gujarati or Punjabi, so it is quicker to meet someone who shares your language and traditions. Others are open to all communities. Next cities open based on the waitlist, including Brampton, Mississauga, Vancouver and Calgary.
Questions
Do I have to bring my parents?
No. Parents are welcome but not required. Many members come alone.
Is it speed dating?
No. Conversations are longer, everyone is verified and looking for marriage, families are in the same room, and nobody shares phone numbers on the night. Matches happen afterwards in the app, only when both people say yes.
