Delete your NeuMarry account
You can delete your account and data yourself at any time, from inside the app. It takes less than a minute.
In the app
- Open NeuMarry and tap Me at the bottom.
- Scroll down to Help and legal and tap Delete my account.
- Tap Delete permanently.
If you bought Gold, also cancel it in your Google Play or App Store account so it does not renew. Deleting the app or the account does not cancel a store subscription.
If you cannot open the app
Email aimaster13679@gmail.com from the email address on your account, with the subject "Delete my NeuMarry account". We confirm it is you, then delete the account within 7 days and reply when it is done.
What is deleted
- Your profile, photos, preferences, interests, matches and chats: deleted straight away, and from back-ups within 90 days.
- Your ID and selfie images: deleted straight away.
- Event reservations: cancelled.
What we keep, and for how long
- Payment and tax records: as long as tax law requires, up to 8 years.
- The IP address used to create the profile: 1 year, as Indian guidance for matrimonial services requires.
- Reports about your account and records of accounts removed for breaking our Terms: up to 5 years, to keep members safe.
