Child safety standards
NeuMarry is a matrimony service for adults. We do not allow children on NeuMarry, and we have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in any form.
1. Adults only
- Every member must be 18 or older, and at least the legal age to marry where they live and in their country of origin.
- Every member checks a government ID and takes a live selfie before they can send interests, chat or book events. Our team checks the date of birth on the ID. Accounts of anyone under 18 are closed.
- Our team reviews every new profile photo before other members can see it. Photos of children, and any sexual or nude photos, are rejected.
- Chat is text only: members cannot send photos or files to each other.
2. What is not allowed
Any content or behaviour that sexualises, grooms, exploits or endangers a child is banned, including: child sexual abuse material; sexual or suggestive content involving anyone under 18; trying to contact, meet or arrange a marriage with anyone under 18; and asking for or offering such content. Breaking this rule leads to an immediate and permanent ban.
3. How to report
- In the app: open the member’s profile or chat, tap the three dots, then Report. Choose “Under 18 or a child safety concern”. A person on our team reviews every report within 24 hours.
- By email: write to our child safety contact below, with the member’s name and city and what happened. You do not need an account to report.
- If a child is in immediate danger, call your local emergency number first.
4. What we do
- We remove the content and ban the account, and keep the records needed for an investigation.
- We report apparent child sexual abuse material and child exploitation to the authorities, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and the police in the relevant country, and we cooperate with law enforcement as the law requires.
- We comply with the child safety laws that apply to us, including in Canada and India.
